ADA CLASSROOM & WORKPLACE ACCOMMODATIONS
Documentation That Gets Your Accommodations Approved, in the Classroom and at Work
If ADHD, autism, executive functioning challenges, or sensory sensitivities make parts of school or work harder than they should be, a clinical evaluation gives your school or employer the clear, defensible documentation they need to approve accommodations like extended time, modified assignments, or sensory-related supports.

WHY IT MATTERS
Self-reported need isn't enough on its own.
Both the ADA and Section 504 give students and employees the right to request reasonable accommodations: extended time on assignments, modified coursework, a quieter workspace, sensory-related supports, or a modified schedule. But disability services offices, HR, and legal teams generally can't act on self-reported need alone. They need clinical documentation that names the condition, explains its functional impact in that specific classroom or role, and connects that impact directly to the accommodation being requested.
WHAT THIS CAN SUPPORT
One evaluation, written for the setting you're in.
Extended time on assignments and exams
Documentation connecting a diagnosis to the specific time-based accommodation needed in coursework or on the job.
Modified assignments or coursework
Support for adjusted format, workload, or deadlines when the standard structure creates a documented barrier.
Sensory
related accommodations
Documentation for supports like a distraction-reduced environment, noise-canceling equipment, or alternative lighting.
Reasonable accommodation
at work under the ADA
Formally requesting a specific, documented workplace accommodation from your employer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my school or employer see my full clinical file?
No. The report gives disability services or HR exactly what they need to evaluate the request (diagnosis, functional impact, and recommendation), not your full clinical record.
What counts as a “reasonable” accommodation?
Generally, anything that lets you access your coursework or perform your job's essential functions without fundamentally altering the requirements. We'll talk through what's realistic for your specific class or role.
What if my school or HR pushes back on my request?
Strong documentation is what reduces that risk. If they need clarification, I can typically provide it directly.
Do I need a prior diagnosis?
No. Many clients are diagnosed for the first time through this evaluation.
Is the evaluation virtual?
Yes. Evaluations are held virtually for residents of New York and Florida.
